To guests with a reservation at HOTEL RINGS KYOTO and those planning a stay

Please Be Aware of Suspicious Messages
Scam messages using the names of hotels and booking sites have recently been reported at accommodations throughout Japan.

They arrive via WhatsApp, other messaging apps, or email, asking you to “confirm your reservation,” “update your card details,” or “make an urgent payment,” and direct you to a fake website. Some of our guests have also received such messages using our name.

We do not use WhatsApp or other messaging apps to confirm reservations or request payment.

If you receive one of these messages, please:
– Do not open the link
– Do not enter card or personal information
– Do not reply

We are looking into the cause, including external services that handle reservation information, and have reviewed and strengthened our own security.
